About Lightspace Labs

Lightspace Labs was founded in 2026 by siblings Brandon Wallace and Bailey Wallace. We built an automated competitive intelligence platform for small and mid-sized businesses — tracking what competitors are doing across marketing, pricing, tech stack, and product strategy so our clients can stay ahead without the manual research. We also design and build websites and offer SEO and GEO optimization as an add-on.

How we work
One team end to end

In short: we give small businesses the same competitive intelligence tools that enterprise marketing teams take for granted — fully automated, delivered to a clean portal, with zero manual research required.

Competitive intelligence is the core product

Our platform automatically researches your brand, runs AI visibility scans across Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Gemini to find who shares space with you in AI search results, and extracts a ranked list of competitor candidates before you ever log in. For each competitor you choose to track, five intelligence modules run on a rolling schedule — citation visibility daily, marketing strategy and tech stack and pricing weekly, and a full product deep-dive monthly using Claude vision on screenshots.

Website design and development are also core to what we do. We build new sites from the ground up and redesign existing ones — responsive, performance-conscious, with semantic HTML and structured data baked in from day one. That foundation makes optional SEO and GEO optimization far more effective than bolting it onto a site that was not built for discovery. Lightspace Labs serves businesses with 1 to 50 employees that lack in-house marketing or technical teams.

One team: CI platform, design, build, and optimization

You work with both co-founders from first conversation through launch and beyond. Brandon leads the technical and automation side; Bailey leads creative direction and client partnerships — but those lanes cross every week. One small team, not a handoff chain.

Four pillars of every engagement

Whether you need a new site or a better one, the same ideas show up in how we plan, build, and run optimization.

Competitive intelligence

Automated competitor tracking across marketing strategy, pricing, tech stack, product hierarchy, and AI citation visibility — updated daily, weekly, and monthly.

Website design & build

New sites and redesigns: responsive layouts, fast loads, semantic HTML, and JSON-LD so search and AI can read you clearly from day one.

SEO & GEO optimization

Available as an add-on: AI-powered content and schema optimization for traditional search rankings and AI citation visibility across Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Google.

Intelligence portal

A clean client portal with side-by-side competitor comparisons, change history, and citation visibility trends — always current, no manual updates needed.

The way customers find businesses online has fundamentally changed.

In recent years, search stopped meaning only “ten blue links on Google.” Today, Perplexity AI synthesizes answers from across the web and cites its sources. ChatGPT Search responds to commercial queries with direct business recommendations. Google’s AI Overviews summarize answers above organic results, which can reduce visibility for traditional listings. Microsoft Copilot pulls business information into conversational responses.

For small businesses, the critical question is no longer only “Does my website rank?” It is increasingly “Does my website get cited by AI systems as a trusted source?”

Many small business sites are not yet tuned for this shift. They may lack the factual density, entity clarity, and structured data that large language models use to choose citation sources, which can leave them underrepresented on the platforms that answer the questions customers ask.

Signals that matter now

  • Clear facts and entities (who you are, what you do, where you serve)
  • Structured data machines can parse without guessing
  • Fast, stable pages (Core Web Vitals and real-user experience)
  • Content formatted for answers, not only for keyword density

CI platform + optional SEO & GEO

Competitive intelligence is the foundation. The optional SEO and GEO add-on layers our optimization engine on top — satisfying both kinds of modern search and ensuring your own site is as visible as the competitors you’re tracking.

Factual density, entity clarity, direct-answer formatting, topical authority depth (the five criteria large language models use to select citation sources)
Structured data
JSON-LD schema markup for Organization, Person, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, WebSite, and BreadcrumbList, parsed directly by AI systems for factual extraction
Automated execution

Brandon Wallace

Co-founderAutomation & SEO

Brandon Wallace is co-founder of Lightspace Labs, specializing in web development, AI automation, and structured data implementation. He designed and built the Lightspace Labs optimization engine — a multi-module AI pipeline that runs content analysis, GEO optimization, schema enrichment, meta tag generation, and Core Web Vitals monitoring on an automated schedule. He has hands-on experience implementing JSON-LD schema across Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, and BreadcrumbList types at scale, and has directly managed optimization cycles across client sites in professional services, home services, and specialty trades. Brandon holds deep expertise in Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and the Anthropic Claude API, which powers the optimization pipeline. He is based in Charlotte, NC, and connected on LinkedIn.

Bailey Wallace

Co-founderDesign & clients

Bailey Wallace is co-founder of Lightspace Labs, leading web design, client relationships, and business development. She specializes in responsive layout design, UX, and front-end implementation — the craft layer that determines whether a site earns trust from human visitors and AI systems simultaneously. She has managed client engagements across retail, professional services, home services, and specialty trades, translating optimization data into plain-language reports that owners can actually act on. Bailey co-founded Lightspace Labs after observing that the gap between large-company web infrastructure and what most small businesses have deployed was widening, not narrowing — especially as AI-powered search began systematically favoring well-structured, fact-dense sites over the thin, template-built pages that most small businesses rely on. Every small business deserves to be found. Lightspace Labs exists to make that happen. Connected on LinkedIn.

We run the same engine on our own site

Techniques we apply to client sites are developed and exercised on lightspacelabs.com first. The company runs its own optimization pipeline against this site on the same kind of schedule we offer clients, so recommendations reflect operational experience, not slides. Metrics you see here (including GEO and SEO signals and Core Web Vitals where we surface them) come from the same system clients use.

How we like to work with clients

Transparency

Every run produces a full report. You always know exactly what changed, why, and what the scores are now, with before-and-after comparisons and plain-language explanations.

Automation first

The best web management is the kind you don't have to think about. Set it up once. Let it run. Every optimization cycle executes automatically with no client effort required.

Future-ready

GEO reflects how discovery is shifting: more answers are synthesized by assistants and AI surfaces, not only classic result pages. We help client sites earn clearer entities, stronger facts, and better structured data so they stay competitive as that behavior grows.
